Who we are: Grassroots movement supporting environmentally friendly public policy and business in Carteret County.
Mission Statement: To prevent the establishment of industry in Carteret County which could potentially have negative ecologic, economic, and environmental impacts on our community or deleterious health or safety effects on our citizens.
Current Action Plan: To prevent the construction of the PCS Phosphate sulfur facility at the Morehead City Port.

We feel that the public should be informed and included in discussions about projects that could affect each and every one of us. Clean County Coalition has developed this website–in part–to functions as a clearinghouse for information. We will post all pertinent public interest documents relating to projects in our county that could affect the health and/or safety of the citizens and our environment.
